Two slabs down, two homes to come. Our fresh development on Abbot Street hit a solid milestone this week with the foundations poured on both new builds. It’s always an exciting stage – when the site stops being a plan on paper and starts becoming something you can actually stand on. Watch this space.

Not all sections are created equal – and Benefield Street is one of the good ones. Tucked away in a quiet cul-de-sac, this site is the perfect canvas for the compact 90sqm cottage-style design we’ve got planned. Fencing and site prep are well underway, retaining walls are taking shape, and the boxing is prepped and ready for the foundation pour. The Puriri Street Triplex is looking sharp inside and out. Cladding painted, GIB complete, and door hardware going in, every week this one gets closer to handing over the keys. These three two-bedroom units are exactly what the rental market has been waiting for: brand new, warm, low-maintenance, and affordable. Good builds solve real problems – and this one does exactly that.

The finishing push is on at Niblett Street. Internal painting is underway, architraves are being wrapped up, and kitchens, carpet, and vinyl are queued up and ready to roll. Four new homes ticking closer to the rental market with every passing week. The hard yards are done – now it’s all about the finish.

We spend a lot of time building for others – and this week, our own project took a serious step forward. The hotmix and new parking are prepped for pour, and inside, linings are going on the walls giving the new workspace a real sense of scale. The new workshop and offices are coming together fast, and we can’t wait to show you the finished product. The team is pumped, and we can’t wait to take you through it when it’s all wrapped up.
