The Build: 91sqm Cottage Style Home

Location: Benefield Street, Whanganui East

Progress This Week: We are right on the home stretch with the exterior, with just one final wall of cladding left to wrap up. The painters are locked in and arriving shortly to get the first coats on. Inside, the shell is officially ready for Gib, meaning we’ll be shifting focus indoors next week to get the walls lined.

The Build: Lake Wiritoa Architectural Home

Where: Kaitoke, Whanganui

Progress This Week: The roof shout has been and gone, and the crew is straight back to business out at Lake Wiritoa. With the iron secure, we’re ready to start a short week with soffits and window installations. It’s exciting to see this premium layout -complete with its private bedroom wings, large open-plan living hub, scullery, and expansive outdoor entertaining area, move one step closer to lock-up.

The Build: Urban Infill (Dual Dwellings)

Where: Abbot Street, Whanganui

Progress This Week: Visual milestones on Abbot Street this week with the exterior painting complete. On the inside, the insulation has been fully installed, keeping these properties locked down and cozy. We are completely prepped and ready for the GIB fixers to arrive next week. These two brand-new, healthy rental dwellings are flying toward completion!

The Build: Four New Rentals

Where: Niblett Street, Whanganui

Progress This Week: We are officially into the final countdown on Niblett Street. Inside, the kitchens are installed, and the carpet layers are on-site rolling out the flooring across all four new homes. Outside, the team is flat out on the landscaping phase – putting up the final boundary fencing and putting the finishing touches on the last of the decking.

Progress This Week: The roofing is officially going down on both of our new Carson Street homes, clearing the way for the window and door installations next. This project is going to bring some pretty cool design contrast to the neighborhood – with one home featuring a brick exterior and the other a mix of Stratum and Newline cladding.

The Build: 70sqm ‘Granny Flat’

Where: Bignell Street, Whanganui

Progress This Week: The countdown to concrete is on! The boxing is officially down and entirely prepped for the foundation pour on our first 70sqm build under the new ‘granny flat’ legislation. Bypassing the building consent process makes this 70sqm, 2-bedroom layout a quick and efficient option for anyone looking to unlock extra land for family or tap into a new income stream.
