Outdoor Living Takes Off at Kaitoke

The Build: Family Home
Where: Kaitoke, Whanganui
This Week’s Update: The real exterior work has kicked into high gear out at Kaitoke this week. The stone masons have laid the schist pillars, bringing together the character our clients are after, while the boys are hard at work getting the deck foundations prepped. On top of that, pool installation is right around the corner – we’ll have some updates on that very soon.
Roofing Underway at Dublin Street

The Build: Motel Units
Where: Dublin Street, Whanganui
This Week’s Update: The roofers have landed on-site and the iron is officially going down! Getting these 12 new units closed in is a massive milestone, and the bird’s-eye view shows just how the new will match the current Burwood Motel aesthetic.
Full Steam Ahead at Benefield

The Build: Urban Downsizer
Where: Benefield Street, Whanganui
This Week’s Update: The outdoor paths and patio are set, the crew has framed up the deck. Inside, the new vinyl flooring is laid, the bathroom looks quality, and the kitchen joinery is going together as we speak. Starting to feel like a real home now.
Modern Infill Builds Take Shape on Carson Street

The Build: Duel Townhouses
Where: Carson Street, Whanganui
This Week’s Update: The Carson Street builds are looking sharp! One property is rocking a clean, classic brick finish, while the second build showcases a combo of Nuline and Stratum weatherboards running both horizontally and vertically. It’s an awesome use of space, turning a neglected back section into two brand-new, healthy homes for Castlecliff.
Redefining ‘Granny Flats’

The Build: Consent-Free 70sqm
Where: Bignell Street, Whanganui
This Week’s Update: The painters are working on the exterior, while the crew is gearing up for the gib stage inside. Plasterers will be through before we know it. When this 70sqm build is fully wrapped, this build will showcase what a back-section minor dwelling can look and feel like.
Infrastructure In at Stewart Street

The Build: Urban Infill
Where: Stewart Street, Whanganui
This Week’s Update: The Stewart Street subdivision is officially off the mark! The civil crew has been ticking off the must-do’s – services are tied into the street, curb and channel is poured, and the concrete driveway for the right-of-way is down.
