The Weekly Wrap | September 5

Progress continues at Caius Ave, with the 67-metre boundary fence being prepared and is ready to be built, giving the site its first sense of shape and privacy. Reinforcing steel is now down, setting the stage for the driveway pour next week. Meanwhile, inside the homes, kitchen installations are underway.

We’ve been busy setting the scene for Whanganui’s very first Digger Day, happening this Father’s Day, Sunday September 7th at 8 Cambridge Street, Gonville.
While all the spots to drive the digger are now fully booked, there’s still plenty of fun for the whole family! Join us for a kids’ play area, bouncy castle, and BBQ.
We’d love to see you there – bring the family, enjoy the day, and don’t forget to bring a donation to support the Whanganui Hospital Children’s Ward.

Work is progressing at our Venture Build yard, with the foundations for the block retaining wall now underway. This is a crucial step in preparing the site before the pad can be poured for our brand-new workshop and office expansion. The project marks another exciting milestone as we continue to grow and invest in the future of Venture Build.

Last week, we were stoked to celebrate the completion of another brand-new family home at our Gonville development. It’s always exciting to see a build move from plans on paper to a warm, modern home ready for its new owners.
