The Build: Family Home

Where: Kaitoke, Whanganui

This Week’s Update: With the exterior cladding wrapped up and lined up for paint, the crew has been flat-out indoors. We’ve fully sorted the insulation through the kitchen, dining, and main living areas, and now it’s GIB time. The team is currently knocking out the ceiling linings, giving the interior its shape for the first time.

The Build: Triplex Units

Where: Puriri Street, Whanganui

This Week’s Update: The Puriri Street triplex is looking sharper by the day. With the concrete paths locked in, focus has shifted to the grounds. The team is slinging topsoil to get the lawns prepped for grassing, while the privacy fences are going up to wrap up the outdoor layout. It won’t be long at all before these units are finished and open for tenants to move in.

The Build: 90sqm Downsizer

Where: Benefield Street, Whanganui

This Week’s Update: GIB is complete and the team is making headway with the internal paintwork. Meanwhile, the concrete crew got the main driveway poured, setting us up to tackle the surrounding paths and outdoor decking next. The property is starting to come together now!

The Build: Suburban Duel-Build

Where: Abbot Street, Whanganui

This Week’s Update: The crew from Thompson’s Plumbing & Drainage is on-site getting the service connections sorted. Indoors, both homes are completely painted throughout, clearing the way for floor prep, vinyl laying, and kitchen installations to start rolling in next.

The Build: 70sqm Dwelling

Where: Bignell Street, Whanganui

This Week’s Update: Just around the corner on Bignell Street, the cladding is nearly complete on our 70sqm project. This two-bedroom dwelling is our first build taking full advantage of the updated ‘granny flat’ rules, allowing homeowners to build a second dwelling up to 70sqm without the hassle of a building consent.
