The Build: Urban Infill

Where: Puriri Street, Whanganui

This Week’s Update: We are ticking off the final boxes on the Puriri Street triplex development. All the underground services are officially hooked up, which is always a massive milestone out of the way.

With the site clear, the team has leveled out the outdoor living areas and laid down the boxing for the concrete to be poured.

The Build: Pavilion Renovation

Where: Basin Reserve, Whanganui

This Week’s Update: The renovation crew has a nice bit of variety on the schedule this week, trading standard residential sites for a unique project over at the Basin Reserve.

We’ve officially kicked off work on the Fern House. The old pavilion roofing was looking pretty tired, so our team has been tasked with stripping it back. We’re currently in the middle of rebuilding the purlins before stretching out and installing the brand-new shade cloth.

The Build: 70sqm Minor Dwelling

Where: Bignell Street, Whanganui

This Week’s Update: The Bignell Street project hit another major milestone this week – the roof is on. There’s nothing better than getting a structure under cover, and despite the smaller footprint, this build is starting to look like a proper home.

This Week’s Update: The interior transformation is well underway on our Abbot Street dual-dwelling project. The sheets are all up, and the stopping crew is currently flat out smoothing everything down ahead of the internal painters.

It’s awesome to see this site take shape. By utilising an under-spec’d piece of land, we’re helping the owner grow their portfolio while injecting brand-new, highly efficient, healthy rental stock into Gonville.
